For me it helps to stay simple and focus on small, yet significant events. Today I ate three full meals with snacks in between. It wasn’t easy, but I did it. Eating gave me the energy to organize my room and fill out financial aid paperwork. This may all seem arbitrary, but for me it means a lot. I feel calm right now. The calm after the storm if you will and even though I know it may rain again soon, but I’m enjoying this moment of sunlight.
