It’s not what we look like, it’s what we do with food that’s the problem.
You don’t have to be underweight to have an eating disorder; anorexia nervosa is the only one that even remotely mentions weight in its diagnostic criteria. Yes, your eating disorder is real, no matter if you suffer from atypical anorexia, purging disorder, BED, pica, bulimia, anything, it’s real. You’re suffering, and that’s what matters.
You deserve help no matter what you look like.

There have been very beautiful pictures in my dash today, but I am disappointed in myself for lacking variety. What I see are nude women (nearly 100% of which are white), some black women, and many beautiful plus size women. That’s basically it. Why can’t I find more diverse blogs to follow? Where are clothed under size 12? Asian? Latina?
